Zootober
Due to forecasted storms, our zootober creepers have decided to stay inside and so should you! Never fear, there are more nights of fun to come….if you have purchased a ticket for tonight, it will be honored on any other remaining zootober night over the next TWO weekends.
And don’t forget that our fun continues tomorrow with Sensory Sunday from 1-5pm!

Welcome to Zootober, where Halloween comes alive in the most thrilling way! Each weekend, the Peoria Zoo transforms after dark into a family-friendly fright fest, bursting with glowing lights, spooktastic characters, and hair-raising fun.
Guests can enjoy:
- Immersive Halloween scenes filled with lifelike animatronics, dazzling light displays, and live actors who’ll surprise and delight around every/ turn.
- The=m[-ed food and drinks—think witches brew, spooky snacks, and ghoulish goodies.
- Costumes encouraged—come dressed to impress and strike a pose at our eerie-sistible photo ops!
- No animals on exhibit, but you’ll meet plenty of eerie new “creatures” lurking in the shadows.
- Live entertainment to keep the excitement alive all evening.
New in 2025:
- Every night features the same frightful fun—making it easier than ever to plan your visit!
- More games and activities to keep your little monsters entertained.
- 10 Activity and Candy Stations spread throughout the event for a relaxed, easy-flowing experience with treats, trinkets, or family-friendly activities.

Special addition on 10/17 and 10/18: Accessible Ride for Guests with Limited Mobility! Take a ride on our eerie express! Reserve a complimentary 1-hour golf cart ride during Zootober! Each cart fits up to 3 riders (plus our driver), and spots are limited—so buy early! A reservation on the eerie express includes one (1) entry ticket. - $12/person
- In-person tickets available at Peoria Zoo and the Noble Center
- Online tickets can be purchased here (please note they are $12/person plus online fees)
- Tickets are needed for those aged 2 and up
- New this year! We’re doing timed tickets for an easy entry experience. Don’t worry, this is just an entry time; you can stay as long as you like!
- Tickets may be available at the door at the rate of $15/person
