Details:

Treat our herd to a little rest, relaxation, and attention at the Bleat Retreat! This seasonal interactive Contact Barn experience invites guests to slow down, step into the yard, and spend time with our playful Nigerian dwarf goats through gentle petting and brushing interactions.

Encounters may be subject to change or temporary closure based on animal comfort, weather, or operational needs. Animal participation may vary based on the goats’ comfort and activity levels. Guests should follow all posted signage and staff instructions during the experience.

Giraffe Feedings

Details:

Twice daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, visitors will have the unique opportunity to feed the Giraffe at the Giraffe Overlook Station on top of the boardwalk. During those days, we will offer the encounters at noon and 2pm.

Encounters may be subject to change or cancellation.  These amazing creatures are wild animals and we can not guarantee that they will stick to our schedule. Quantities are limited.

Keeper Chat

Memorial Day through Labor Day, join us for daily Keeper Chats! Enjoy a fun and educational way to learn more about your favorite animals from the experts who care for them. These short talks offer behind-the-scenes insights, unique animal facts, and a closer look at conservation efforts happening right here at Peoria Zoo. Keeper Chats are included with regular admission and take place daily, with special Critter Chats on weekends led by our education staff. Don’t miss your chance to connect with wildlife like never before!
