This spring, Glow Wild Lantern Festival returns to Peoria Zoo, transforming the grounds into a dazzling wonderland of light, color, and cultural artistry. Back for another unforgettable season, this year’s festival features an all-new lineup of handcrafted lantern displays, immersive experiences, delicious food and drinks, and live entertainment designed to delight guests of all ages.

Presented by Kaleido Entertainment in collaboration with the Peoria Park District, this spectacular glowing event offers a reimagined luminescent journey filled with traditional Chinese lantern craftsmanship, interactive elements, and breathtaking performances

  • ALL-NEW LANTERN DISPLAYS: Experience a completely refreshed collection of stunning, larger-than-life lantern creations inspired by animals, nature, and fantastical scenes. Each display illuminates the Zoo's pathways with vibrant color and intricate detail.
  • LIVE ACROBATIC PERFORMANCES: Enjoy world-class performances from award-winning Chinese acrobats, included with your admission.
  • INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES: Discover hands-on elements and family-friendly activities throughout the festival.
  • FOOD & BEVERAGES: Savor themed treats and refreshments available for purchase as you explore the glowing trails.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Glow Wild is a special nighttime lantern festival experience happening after the Zoo's normal operating hours. Zoo animals will not be on exhibit during event hours.
  • Guests may arrive earlier in the evening to enjoy food, activities, and sunset views over the African savannah. Then stay as dusk falls and the lanterns come to life. We recommend staying past sunset for the full glow experience!
