The Peoria Zoo offers an enriching and unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages, set in the heart of Peoria, Illinois. Peoria Zoo is over 14 acres in size and home to nearly 100 species from around the globe; from giraffes and rhinoceros to spider monkeys and lions, the Zoo is the wildest place in town! Our landscaped exhibits mimic natural habitats, promoting conservation and awareness. Seasonal interactive programs, like animal encounters and keeper talks, engage and inspire, making it a perfect destination for families, school groups, and those seeking a will adventure! Visit the Peoria Zoo for a day of fun, discovery, and a deeper connection to wildlife! Tickets can be purchased in advance online but can also be purchased at the door.

Prices

  • Adult (13 and over): $12.50
  • Child (2-12): $9.00
  • Child (1 and Under): FREE
  • Senior (65+): $11.50
  • Active Military: $11.50

Open Daily 10am-5pm*


*Last admission is at 4:30pm. As we begin transferring animals to evening (off exhibit) holding areas at 4:30pm each night.

Peoria Zoo is located in Glen Oak Park, home to even more family fun! After your Zoo visit, check out the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum, stroll through the beautiful Luthy Botanical Garden, or let the kids burn off energy at one of the playgrounds.
